Friday February 9, 2024, in the semi-final of the U-17 Women's Championship of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) our Grenadières who gave everything they had against an American team too strong suffered a very heavy defeat [7-1] and were eliminated, but saved their honor thanks to a goal from Lourdjina Etienne who joins Nerilia Mondesir with 7 goals in the ranking of the best Haitian scorers in the women's championship.

For this semi-final match facà brings back captain Pierreline Nazon in place of Nehemie Sainvilus and Aslie Laguerre who replaces Esther Valéus, suspended.

the score at 3-0 (48'), thanks to Kennedy Fuller who scored the double and remains to date the top scorer in the competition with 8 goals. Before the hour mark, Alexandra Pfeiffer allowed the American team to take off (4-0, 57').

Coach Marc Ogé replaces Chesnaïda Nicolas with Derline Saindaté (64') and Dominique Désert with Ella Marie Etienne (74') to try to stop the Amériacines' goal machine...

Lourdjina Etienne, from the penalty spot for the women's team, reduced the score in the 78' by scoring the first goal against the American team [4-1]. But the descent into hell continued for Haït and despite all her efforts Kimberlie Prince conceded a hat-trick from Kimmi Ascanio (81' [5-1] 86' [6-1], and 88' [7-1] sounding definitively the end of our girls' dream for this world championship.
